MINA'S PROFILE

Representative Hermina M. Morita was elected to the House of Representatives in 1997 for the 12th District, which includes Hanalei, Kilauea, Anahola, and Kapaa on Kauai and Haiku, Keanae, Nahiku and Hana on Maui - a so-called "canoe" district. She serves as Chair of the Energy & Environmental Protection Committee and as a member of the Judiciary & Hawaiian Affairs, Consumer Protection and Commerce, Water and Land Use committees.
